Not everyone gets excited about rain on a wedding day. But, did you know that it's actually a sign of good luck? Rain = good things for plants = symbol of a long and *ahem* fertile marriage.
I met up with the girls at a family home, suitable admired their gorgeous flowers, and we took our photos in the backyard.
When I arrived at The Patio, the guys were taking advantage of the golf course and killing some time.
"Put this one on your website," the best man told me. Challenge accepted. ;)
The groom had the best reaction I've ever seen to watching his bride walk up the aisle. Taylor and Corey wrote their own vows, and his featured so many sports references that this photographer must admit she didn't understand most of them. However, I did understand--sports-references aside--that he was pledging his undying love, support, and devotion.
These two are a wonderful couple, who clearly enjoy the heck out of each other, and it was such a pleasure to be part of their day.
The reception, which had moved inside due to the morning rain, featured amazing food, a gorgeous cake, and family and friends who seemed to have a BLAST on the dance floor.
