Oh, you guys. New favorite wedding of the year.
First, the getting ready room at Julieanna's Patio Cafe is bizarre and wonderful. There is an incredible mural on the walls, including a cat in high heels (???), these fabulous mirrors with ornate frames, and lots of great, unique little details. Add a bride, loving friends, and a first look with her father.
There were little challenges. The whole wedding took place after dark, and there was no lighting for the ceremony. None. If you know photography, then you know that it is, in essence, just light hitting a sensor. So when there's no light, it can get difficult. Luckily, I bring some sunshine with me, and I think we still got it.
And then we had some fun with night portraits.
Oh, and the reception ... Julieanna's, you are my new favorite venue. They had a gorgeous white tent, with chandeliers and twinkle lights that were lovely. The DJs kept the music going, and everyone had a blast when they weren't crying their eyes out.
All around, a wonderful wedding, and something to really look back upon and treasure.
And I must apologize. Every time I get ready to post a blog, I tell myself WILL NOT SPAM THEM. Just choose 15. Just choose fifteen great ones and leave the rest for the gallery, and then all this happens ... Brace yourself for too many images.
